Carmacks Part Two

No pics from Pelly, since I'm not a freakin' handler! Yet, why am I still sleepless during the Quest?!?! It's friggin' addicting is why...

However, PIERRE AND ISABELLE are heading to Dawson and they've agreed to try to get some photos while up there handling for Super Gerry Boyle (aka: Willomitzer). They're willing to help keep the blog from disappearing into a black hole of stagnant non-information.... woohoo!!!

Okay, so.... here's some more photos from Carmacks!
Pinard coming into the Checkpoint:

More media interviews. Where the heck are they airing these things anyways?!?

Could Bruno Baureis be any BIGGER!?!? This guy is built like a friggin' tree!!!! Note the official next to him - he is a normal sized human being. Bruno is freakishly large. His dogs are pulling around, like, 3 Catherine Pinards...

Frank's arrival. He lucked out and got a sweet parking spot off to the side.

Frank feeding. Although, you can't really see anything except his sled and crap. And the dogs eyes.

Frank and Freking teams. Freking's are the closer team in the shot. Sorry Ted, tried getting shots of his dogs, but didn't want to get close with the big ol' flash in their sleepy little eyes...

Ok, I call this the "Maybe Mackey" shot. It was such a whirlwind of teams coming in, it was hard to keep track of who was who. Not like they wear bibs or have #'s on the sleds or anything..... nooo... that would be too easy. Maybe Statistician-Darren can identify the sled? He pays attention to these details!

Another mystery musher- but a cool shot of the whole team and musher:

More to follow - I'm confident PIERRE AND ISABELLE can weasel their way into the computers at the Dawson checkpoint and send me photos!!! And trail gossip. Don't forget the trail gossip you guys!!!

Hey thanks! I can see Blakes one white dog in that one. He looks pretty good.
Looks like Blake is holding steady in 10 to 11th place. Not bad for a Rookie eh? Minnesotans are tough!
Siberians too!

Yeah, he's doing well Theo. I've just sent you a few more photos of him that turned out ok. And hopefully, we'll get more from Dawson.
