Last years two-day race, Yukon Sourdough Rendezvous. I decided that weekend we were a competitive sprint team and we would race with the best of them! Well, the *rest* of them whupped our butts and we came in last 2 days in a row!! But, we had fun... and..won $250 for our last place finish! Not bad eh?

This is us at the end of a warm day 2, saying yay! It's over!



And... poor Gabe, was a bit too hot that day, so he was packed in the sled for most of it. Nice guy that he is, decides to put on a show as we were heading to the finish line. He started barking his head off and whining in the sled, then lept out about 20ft from the finish, where I had to stop and pack him back him. This is how we dragged ourselves to the finish line.... to the amusement of the people around us.
